Update - Dauphin RCMP and RCMP Major Crime Services investigate homicide

On July 19, 2021, Cheyenne Beaulieu, a 30-year-old male from Dauphin, Manitoba, was charged with manslaughter. He has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court in Dauphin on July 20, 2021.

On July 15, 2021, at approximately 1:50 am, Dauphin RCMP received a report that a 33-year-old injured male knocked on the door of a residence in Dauphin, Manitoba looking for assistance. The homeowners called an ambulance.

The ambulance transported the male to local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

RCMP Major Crime Services was alerted immediately and have taken carriage of the investigation, which is being treated as a homicide.

The investigation continues.
