Update: The individual has been taken into custody.
Clarenville RCMP is currently looking for a man in relation to an assault that occurred earlier this evening in Ivany's Cove.
The investigation is ongoing and the public can expect to see an increased police presence in Ivany's Cove, specifically the area known as Fortis Pit. While there is no known threat to pubic safety, the public is asked to refrain from the area at this time while police look for individual.
