Burin Peninsula RCMP charges Marystown man with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine

Burin Peninsula RCMP charged 29-year-old Terrance Adams of Marystown with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine on May 25, 2021.

Shortly before 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Burin Peninsula RCMP acted on information that was provided and conducted a traffic stop with a car on McGettigan Boulevard in Marystown. Adams, the lone occupant of the car, was arrested at the traffic stop. A quantity of cocaine, more than $1000.00 cash and other items consistent with drug-trafficking were located and seized.

Adams was held in police custody and attended court yesterday. He is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and was released on conditions.

The investigation is continuing.
