Bay Roberts RCMP is investigating an arson that happened at Mahoney's Towing impound yard in North River during the early morning hours of September 3, 2021.
At approximately 4:00 a.m., police received a report of the fire and attended the scene. The fire started in a vehicle that was parked at the impound yard and then spread to a tractor and an outbuilding on the property. The blaze was extinguished by local firefighters.
The investigation is continuing.
