Yorkton RCMP can confirm that the four individuals charged in relation to multiple armed robbery investigations in Theodore and Saltcoats, SK have been located and placed into police custody. The suspect vehicle has also been located and seized.

28-year-old Kelsey Bloomfield of Prince Albert, SK, 34-year-old Garret Hansen of Prince Albert, SK, 19-year-old Tanner Seafoot of Yorkton, SK, and 22-year-old Braiden Hotomani of Regina, SK are facing numerous charges relating to weapons possession, robbery, and assault causing bodily harm.

Bloomfield and Hansen are scheduled to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on September 8th, 2020. Seafoot has been remanded into custody until his court appearance on September 10th, 2020, and Hotomani has been remanded into custody until his court appearance on September 21st, 2020.

Yorkton RCMP would like to take this time to thank the public and community partners for their assistance in locating these individuals. Your cooperation throughout this investigation is greatly appreciated.

The Yorkton RCMP have charged four individuals and identified a suspect vehicle in relation to multiple armed robbery investigations from Theodore and Saltcoats, SK that began on August 11th, 2020.

19-year-old Tanner Seafoot has been arrested and charged with:

  • Two counts of Careless use of a Firearm, contrary to Sec. 86(1) of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, contrary to Sec. 88(2) of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, contrary to Sec. 90(2);
  • Two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm/Prohibited Weapon, or Restricted Weapon, contrary to Sec. 91(3) of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Possession of a Firearm Without a License, contrary to Sec. 92(1) of the Criminal Code;
  • One count of Assault with a Weapon, contrary to Sec. 267(a) of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Robbery, contrary to Sec. 344 of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Disguised with Intent to Commit an Offence, contrary to Sec. 351(2) of the Criminal Code; and
  • Two counts of Commit an Offence for Criminal Organization, contrary to Sec. 467.12(1) of the Criminal Code.

22-year-old Braiden Shade Hotomani has been arrested and charged with:

  • Two counts of Careless Use of a Firearm, contrary to Sec. 86(1) of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, contrary to Sec. 88(2) of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, contrary to Sec. 90(2) of the Criminal Code;

  • Two counts of Robbery, contrary to Sec. 344 of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Disguised with intent to commit an offence, contrary to Sec. 351(2) of the Criminal Code; and
  • Two counts of Commit Offence for Criminal Organization, contrary to Sec 467.12(1) of the Criminal Code

28-year-old Kelsey Mildred Bloomfield is charged with:

  • Two counts of Robbery, contrary to Sec. 344 of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Commit Offence for Criminal Organization, contrary to Sec 467.12(1) of the Criminal Code

The Yorkton RCMP is requesting the public's assistance in locating Hansen and Bloomfield. These individuals are known to frequent the Yorkton, Prince Albert, and Nipawin areas.

Investigation has revealed that weapons were involved in both armed robberies, therefore we ask that you do not approach or attempt any form of contact if you see the individuals or vehicle identified above. Contact police immediately.

Yorkton RCMP: Armed Robberies in Theodore, SK and Saltcoats, SK

2020-08-14

The Yorkton RCMP can confirm that we now have one suspect vehicle and one person in custody in relation to two armed robberies that took place in Theodore, SK and Saltcoats, SK on August 11th, 2020. We continue to request the public's assistance in identifying two other suspects and locating the involved vehicle.

The suspect vehicle has been identified as a 2004 to 2008 Toyota Corolla, either brown or gray in colour. It is missing multiple hubcaps, and has a white sticker on the rear window in the upper left corner.

19-year-old Tanner Seafoot of Yorkton, SK has been charged with the following offences in relation to both Armed Robberies:

  • Two counts of Careless use of a firearm, contrary to Sec. 86(1) of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, contrary to Sec. 88(2) of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Carrying a concealed weapon, contrary to Sec. 90(2);
  • Two counts of Possession of a firearm without a license, contrary to Sec. 92(1) of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Unauthorized possession of a firearm/prohibited weapon/restricted weapon, contrary to Sec. 91(3) of the Criminal Code;
  • One count of Assault with a weapon, contrary to Sec. 267(a) of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Robbery, contrary to Sec. 344 of the Criminal Code;
  • Two counts of Disguised with intent to commit an offence, contrary to Sec. 351(2) of the Criminal Code; and
  • Two counts of Commit an offence for criminal organization, contrary to Sec. 467.12(1) of the Criminal Code.

Yorkton RCMP seek suspects responsible for armed robbery in Theodore, SK

2020-08-11

Yorkton RCMP received the report of an armed robbery that took place at approximately 1:30 p.m. on August 11, 2020, at the Theodore Hotel in Theodore, SK.

It was reported to police that three masked males with weapons wearing black and white clothing and sunglasses were involved in the robbery. The males fled the scene in a vehicle described as a small, grey, possibly a Pontiac Sunfire or Chevrolet Cavalier, 4-doors.

Yorkton RCMP is requesting the public's assistance in locating these individuals and/or the suspect vehicle. If you have seen or located these individuals or the suspect vehicle, do not approach or attempt any form of contact. Please contact the RCMP by calling 310-RCMP or 911 immediately.
