Yellowknife RCMP arrest two in connection with armed robbery

News release

In the evening hours of March 17, 2020 Yellowknife RCMP Detachment, supported by Yellowknife General Investigative Section (GIS), executed a search warrant at a residence in relation to the armed robbery at the Circle K.

Two individuals were arrested and no further suspects are being sought.

Devon Larabie, 27, from Yellowknife, has been charged with:

  • S.344 CC Robbery
  • S.88(2) CC Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Maiya Klengenberg, 18, both from Yellowknife, has been charged with:

  • S.344 CC Robbery
  • S.88(2) CC Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • 2 counts of S.145(5)(a) CC Fail to Comply

Devon Larabie remains in custody and is next expected in court on March 19, 2020.

Maiya Klengenberg also remains in custody and will appear on March 20, 2020.
