St. Albert RCMP charge a male with sexual exploitation

St Albert RCMP arrested a 41-year-old male in connection with an investigation dealing with Sexual Exploitation, Child Pornography, Making Sexually Explicit Material and Child Luring that allegedly occurred between Oct. 2017 and March 2020.

The accused began communicating with a female, who was 15-years-old at the time, via text messaging, social media and in person. The accused asked the female victim to make sexually explicit material and met her on several occasions for sexual purposes.

As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old male of St. Albert, Alta. is charged with the following offences:

  • Sexual Exploitation
  • Making Sexual Explicit Material available to a Child
  • Child Luring (X2)

Following a Judicial Hearing, the 41-year-old male was release from custody with numerous conditions.
