RCMP seeking public’s help following suspicious structure fire

The Northeast District RCMP is asking for the public's help in its investigation into a suspicious structure fire that occurred in Kedgwick, N.B.

On October 1, 2020, at approximately 1 a.m., members of the Saint-Quentin RCMP along with the Kedgwick Fire Department responded to a report of a business on fire on rue Notre-Dame. The business was unoccupied at the time and was partially destroyed by the fire.

The investigation has determined the fire to be suspicious in nature.

The Saint-Quentin RCMP along with the Provincial Fire Marshal's office are continuing to investigate to determine the cause of the fire.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed suspicious activity, is asked to contact the Saint-Quentin RCMP detachment at 506-235-2149.
