Powerview RCMP seize drugs, cash and weapons

On May 3, 2020, at approximately 9:00 am, Powerview RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Dupont Street, in Powerview-Pine Falls.

Officers seized approximately 60 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 6 grams of cocaine, two loaded syringes of suspected liquid methamphetamine, cash, a pellet gun, bear spray, cell phones, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Morgan Bruyere, 25, of Powerview-Pine Falls, was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2 and Possession of an Imitation Firearm.

Caleb Johnston, 31, of Winnipeg, was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Both were remanded into custody.

RCMP continue to investigate.

The RCMP remains fully committed to enforcing laws against illicit drugs to their fullest extent as those who produce and traffic illicit drugs destroy lives, homes and communities.
