News release

A 69-year-old man from this province is deceased following a motor vehicle collision that occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) between the Norris Arm exits, last night.

At approximately 7:20 p.m., Lewisporte RCMP were notified of the collision which involved a pickup truck and an oil tanker truck. Police, fire and ambulance attended the scene. Upon arrival, it was determined that the lone male occupant of the pickup truck died at the scene.
