Harbour Grace RCMP is currently investigating a structure fire at a storage garage in Riverhead, Harbour Grace.
On February 19, 2020, at approximately 11:00 p.m., police received the call and were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the building was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters from Harbour Grace and Carbonear responded, however, the structure was a total loss. Weather conditions at the time of the fire were very poor, with high winds.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. A fire examiner with Fire and Emergency Services is expected on scene today.
