Burin Peninsula RCMP are investigating break and enters into several businesses within the Marystown Mall.

During the early morning hours of March 26, 2020, a suspect, who was fully disguised, forced entry into the mall and broke into Jasmine Jewellers, the Chamber of Commerce Office, Chalky's Billiards, and the Lotto Kiosk.

The businesses were damaged. Thousands of dollars worth of jewellery was stolen from Jasmine Jewellers and a number of lottery tickets were stolen from the Lotto Kiosk.

The investigation is continuing.

Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual captured on video footage at the mall during the intrusion.
