Three youths arrested for robbery in Kingston

On January 27 at 7:13 p.m., Kingston RCMP responded to a call of a robbery that had occurred near Westwood St.

The victim, a 15-year-old youth, was out for a walk, and met up with another male youth. Two other males, both of whom were wearing masks, confronted them and produced a knife. The males demanded the victim's personal belongings. The victim refused, and a struggle ensued resulting in the victim suffering an injury to his hand. The suspects and the other youth fled the scene.

The victim attended the hospital to have his injuries treated and he was subsequently released. Police investigated and located the three youths in a nearby home. The suspects, all 15 years old, were arrested without incident. They are being held in custody and are all facing charges of:

  • Robbery
  • Aggravated Assault
  • Wearing a Disguise with Intent to Commit an Offence

The investigation is ongoing.
