Weekly warrant round ups have become an ongoing part of the Stony Plain RCMP's crime reduction initiative. Between Nov. 30 and Dec. 6, 2018, RCMP members arrested 32 people on 64 warrants.
Insp. Mike Lokken stated, "Our communities are not immune to crime, and many of our residents have been victimized. Identifying and apprehending repeat offenders is one of the many ways we hope to reduce crime in our community".
