Snowmobile collision near Lomond River back country sends man to hospital

On March 15, 2019, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Rocky Harbour RCMP responded to a report of a snowmobile collision in the back country near Lomond River.

Three individuals were sledding when one snowmobile went over a large drop. The driver, a 39-year-old man from Paradise, was transported by air ambulance to Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
