Jacksontown, New Brunswick

News release

The Woodstock RCMP is hoping information from the public can help further their investigation of a break, enter and theft that occurred at a cottage in Jacksontown, N.B., north of Woodstock, last month.

On December 21, 2018, police received a report of a break, enter and theft at a cottage on Route 560. Several items were stolen, including an orange Echo chainsaw, an orange Husqvarna chainsaw, a yellow Dewalt drill, a white Makita drill, a water pump and boots.

The break and enter would have occurred sometime on December 19 or 20. It's believed the person or persons responsible would have been driving a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle.

Anyone with information on this break and enter, or the stolen items, is asked to contact the Woodstock Detachment at 506-325-3000. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.crimenb.ca.
