Halifax District RCMP is investigating a fatal single vehicle collision that happened this afternoon in Lakeside.
Police responded to the collision at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Hwy. 103 near exit 2 in Lakeside. A car left the road, entered the ditch and rolled.
The vehicle had 3 occupants. One occupant was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other two occupants were transported to hospital via EHS with undetermined injuries.
Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency and EHS also responded. An RCMP Collision Analyst is at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. The westbound lanes of Hwy. 103 remain closed.
