Joint Force Operations Unit (JFO) seize drugs, cash and weapons

The Prince District Joint Force Operations Unit which is comprised of RCMP, Summerside, and Kensington Police officers conducted a targeted vehicle stop on November 3rd, 2019 in Borden-Carleton. As a result, over 5 ounces (over 140 grams) of crystal methamphetamine, methamphetamine pills, over $1600 in cash, and weapons were seized.

A 44 year-old man and a 41 year-old woman were arrested. The man will be appearing in Summerside Provincial court on November 4th, 2019 and will be charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. The woman will appear in court on a later date.
