Help RCMP solve hit and run

Halifax District RCMP is asking for help from the public to solve a hit and run collision that occurred in Lower Sackville on October 30.

At approximately 8 a.m. yesterday morning, a 15-year-old female pedestrian was crossing Beaver Bank Rd. at Glendale Ave. via a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a truck causing her to fall to the ground. The driver of the truck left the scene without stopping to offer assistance and continued driving toward Sackville Dr.

The truck is described as dark in color with a metal rack in the bed of the truck with white lettering on its side. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
