East Hants District RCMP investigating dangerous driving incident

At 10:00 p.m. on April 30, East Hants District RCMP began an investigation after receiving a report of a dangerous driver. Police located the vehicle and the driver failed to stop. Police engaged in a pursuit which came to an end with the suspect vehicle leaving the roadway on Hwy. 14 in Upper Nine Mile River. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle is in police custody and was taken to Colchester Hospital as a precaution to be examined. The matter is under investigation.

Highway 14 in Upper Nine Mile River was closed from approximately 10 p.m. on April 30 and was re-opened on May 1.
