On May 8, 2019, Gander RCMP received a report of a theft of an ATM at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander. The theft, which is believed to have occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. on May 7 and 3:30 a.m on May 8, 2019, was captured on video.
Yesterday, police charged 35-year-old Gary Ivany with theft over $5000.00. He was released on a recognizance and will appear in court on August 20, 2019.
