Two Youth Injured in Snowmobile Accident

On January 1, 2018, Hall Beach RCMP attended a motor vehicle accident where a snowmobile collided into a shed. The 13 year old driver and his 12 year old passenger both sustained serious injuries and were medivac'ed out of the community for further medical assistance.

Although the investigation is ongoing, it has been determined that drugs and alcohol were not a contributing factor.

The RCMP would like to remind the public that it is important to always wear a helmet and the appropriate protective gear when operating a snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle.
