Truck collides with local restaurant

Yellowknife RCMP are investigating a single vehicle collision near Franklin Avenue and 53rd Street that occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, July 15th, 2018.

A White Ford F150 crashed into the side of the Sushi Café, causing significant damage to the restaurant. At the time of the incident no one was inside the building. The vehicle was seized by RCMP for further analysis by G Division's Forensic Identification Section. This investigation is active and ongoing.
