St. Anthony RCMP seizure of drugs

On September 13, 2018, St. Anthony RCMP conducted a drug investigation which resulted in the arrest of 26-year-old Geoffrey Byrne of St. Anthony.

Nine pounds of cannabis and a number of packages of shatter were seized, along with a small amount of money.

Mr. Byrne was in court this morning facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking in cannabis and possession for the purpose of trafficking in cannabis derivatives. He will be back in court on December 11, 2018.
