Killam RCMP investigate break and enter into residence and theft of vehicle

This morning at approximately 7:30 a.m., Killam RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter with theft at a rural residence near Hardisty, Alberta.

A male suspect broke into a shed and then a residence. The male was confronted by the home owner and took a set of keys to a vehicle outside the residence and fled. The home owner was not injured. Killam RCMP along with surrounding detachments made extensive patrols in the area but the male suspect and stolen vehicle were not located.

The male suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Approximately 5'8"
  • Brown hair
  • Blue shirt
  • Dark pants
  • Heavy build

The stolen vehicle is described as a Grey Chevrolet Blazer (2000) Alberta plate #93J587.
