At approximately 4:30 p.m. on May 18, 2018, Bay St. George RCMP received a report that a female suspect was caught stealing at Dominion in Stephenville.
Police responded and a 31-year-old woman from Port au Port was arrested for theft. She was released with conditions of an Undertaking and a Promise to Appear in court at a later date.
A few hours later, police received a report of a break, enter and theft into a residence and garage in Lourdes.
Several items were stolen, including two long guns, two lawn mowers and a pressure washer.
The investigation is continuing.
