RCMP investigating multiple break and enters

The West District RCMP, Saint-Léonard detachment, is investigating a series of break and enters at seasonal properties in Saint-Joseph-de-Madawaska.

Between November 5 and November 11, 2017, at least six cottages were broken into in the Moose Valley area, along chemin de la Pépinière. Several items were taken from the different properties, including an ATV, a Champion generator, chainsaws, and three firearms. Several cottages were also vandalised, damaging furniture and floors.

Anyone with information on these break and enters and thefts, or who may have similar incidents in the area to report, are asked to contact the West District RCMP, Saint-Léonard detachment, at 506-473-3137.
