Kings District RCMP, EHS and Waterville Volunteer Fire Department were on scene last evening at an accident on Thompson Rd. in Waterville. At approximately 7:30 p.m. last evening, a three-year-old boy was seriously injured when he was struck by a ride-on lawn mower. The operator of the lawn mower was mowing the lawn and did not see the child.
The boy sustained serious injuries and was transported by EHS to hospital in Halifax.
