Yellowknife RCMP arrest suspect for multiple Break & Enter offences

On Monday, August 14th, RCMP officers apprehended a man that is alleged to be linked to several break and enter offences involving businesses in Yellowknife.

Over the Civic Holiday long weekend, a male suspect gained entry to the Military Family Resource Centre on 54th Street taking a safe with them. During the early morning hours of August 7th, a male suspect gained entry to The Fat Fox café on 50th Street. The suspect stole a significant amount of cash. Then during the early morning hours of Monday, August 14th, the café was broken into again by the same male suspect stealing tip and donation money.

The suspect is appearing before a Justice of the Peace this afternoon.
