A 29-year-old man from Christopher Cross has died following a single-vehicle crash in Christopher Cross, PEI.
On September 4, 2022, at approximately 12:45 a.m., members of the West Prince RCMP, Tignish Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services and Maritime Electric responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Route 14, in Christopher Cross.
The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and struck a power pole. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
A member of the Prince Edward Island's Coroner's office attended the scene and is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
