The Prince District Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Drug Unit has arrested a 34-year-old man and seized several types of drugs as well as money, in Summerside, PEI.
On June 27, 2022, police arrested a 34-year-old man outside of a business on Read Drive in Summerside as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. When they searched the man, police seized what is believed to be crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, hydromorphone, oxycodone, diazepam as well as money.
The 34-year-old man, from Summerside, was later released and will be scheduled to appear in Summerside Provincial Court at a later date.
The Prince District JFO Drug Unit is comprised of members of the Prince District RCMP, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services.
The public plays an important role in helping to reduce, prevent and solve crime, including the trafficking of illegal drugs.
