Chieko Teton

Wanted on Canada-wide warrant for parental abduction.

Chieko Teton was with her husband Henrik and their one year old son Takaya in 2013 on vacation in Yokohama, Japan.

Nearing the end of their vacation Chieko insisted on staying at the New Otani Inn hotel located in Yokohama-Shi Kanagawa, Japan as it was situated minutes from the transit system.

While Henrik was showering in their hotel room, Chieko abducted their child, never to be seen or heard from again.

Working in conjunction with the Toronto Police Service.
