Ali Omer Mohamed

Wanted on Canada-wide warrant for second degree murder.

In the early morning of January 18th, 2018, the victim attended a residential apartment to socialize with persons he knew. At approximately 3 am, the accused, Ali Omer MOHAMED attended the same apartment and started drinking with the victim. Just before 6 am, MOHAMED and the victim became embroiled in an argument which led to the accused shooting the victim. The victim sustained a fatal gunshot to the torso. Subsequent to investigation, MOHAMED was charged with second degree murder and a Warrant was issued for his arrest. It is believed that on or around January 23rd, 2018, the accused fled Canada to Djibouti and may have travelled to Somalia or Ethiopia.

MOHAMED was a member of the Ottawa street gang named "The Kids". He goes by the street name of "Simba
