July 12th, 2024, Murray Harbour North - Kings District RCMP arrested a 53-year-old Murray Harbour North man after firearm incident.
July 11th, 2024, at 8:15 a.m. Kings District RCMP responded to a firearms complaint in the community of Murray Harbour North. Two men, known to each other, had a dispute resulting in one man discharging a firearm. Kings District RCMP responded to the dispute and safely arrested the armed man without incident. There was no threat to the greater public. A search warrant was executed at the residence where multiple firearms were seized along with an edged weapon. Police also seized 26 grams of suspected cocaine, digital scales, and Canadian currency. The man was released before the court today on strict conditions, this investigation is ongoing.
