Investigation into suspicious fire under way

Queens District RCMP is investigating a suspicious fire that occurred in Liverpool.

On May 13, at approximately 4:40 a.m., Queens District RCMP and fire services responded to a report of a structure fire on Main St.

The structure, an abandoned home, was destroyed by the fire. No one was injured in the incident.

From the information and evidence gathered, investigators believe the fire is suspicious in nature.

The investigation, led by Queens District RCMP, remains ongoing.
