A 47-year-old man from Saint-Léonard, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash in Grand Falls (former LSD of Drummond).
On September 3, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the Saint-Léonard RCMP Detachment responded to a motorcycle accident on Route 108 near Davis Mills Road in Grand Falls (former LSD of Drummond).
The crash is believed to have occurred when the motorcycle lost control after driving on the shoulder of the road. The driver and sole occupant of the motorcycle died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Ambulance New Brunswick and the Drummond Fire Department attended the scene. A member of the New Brunswick RCMP Forensic Collision Analyst Team and New Brunswick Coroner's office are assisting with the investigation. An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man's exact cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
