Queens District General Investigation Section conducted a traffic stop and a search of a residence in Stratford that lead to 3 arrests, and weapons and drugs being seized.
On April 12th, 2023, Queens District General Investigation Section conducted a vehicle stop in Stratford as part of a drug investigation. Two men and a woman were arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine. Cocaine, methamphetamine pills, hydromorphone pills, drug paraphernalia and weapons were seized. A search warrant was also executed at a residence in Stratford where further drug trafficking evidence and weapons were seized.
This investigation is ongoing.
The Queens District General Investigation Section was assisted by the Kings District General Investigation Section, Charlottetown Police and the Prince District Joint Forces Operations Unit.
The Prince District Joint Forces Operations (JFO) unit has seized drugs, and money, as a part of an ongoing investigation in Summerside, PEI.
On April 11, 2023, the Prince District JFO Unit arrested a Summerside women and seized over 3 ounces of crystal methamphetamine, over 100 hydromorphone tablets, cocaine, speed tablets, and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.
This investigation is ongoing.
The Prince District JFO drug unit is comprised of members of the Prince District RCMP, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services. The Summerside Major Crime Unit assisted in the arrest.
