Mary's Harbour RCMP welcomes the addition of the newly formed Labrador South East Coast Ground Search and Rescue Team which will service the needs of communities from Lodge Bay to Charlottetown.

The team consists of local individuals who have knowledge of the area and a vested interest in community service. They will provide support when search and rescue efforts are required for individuals who are missing/overdue, displaced/stranded or injured. This service has been locally unavailable for some time. The team is currently in training and are eager to get started.

Mary's Harbour RCMP is exceptionally pleased to partner with this new team which will serve as a great asset to police and to the community at large.

Mary's Harbour RCMP encourages residents to explore the outdoors and enjoy winter activities but to do these things while having safety in mind.
