On January 26, 2023, at approximately 2:30 pm, RCMP received a report that on January 25, 2023, a student at Fisher Branch Collegiate, in Fisher Branch, pointed a firearm at another student.
Officers immediately attended the school and met with school administration. The suspect was not at the school at this time.
Officers attended the suspects residence in Fisher Branch and he was arrested without incident. He was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm, ammunition and bear spray.
The youth is facing charges of:
Pointing a Firearm
Uttering Threats
Careless use of a Firearm x2
Carrying a Concealed Weapon x4
Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose x4
Unsafe Storage of Firearm x2
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
He remains in custody at this time. Fisher Branch RCMP continue to investigate.
