Bay St. George RCMP has arrested and charged 21-year-old Joshua McIsaac following an armed robbery that occurred on June 1, 2023.
At approximately 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, police received the report of an armed robbery on Marshall Court in Stephenville. McIsaac allegedly robbed an individual of a quantity of cash at knifepoint. He was arrested in the area a short time later. McIsaac and the victim, who was uninjured, are known to one another. This incident was not a random act.
McIsaac was held in custody overnight and attends court today charged with one count of robbery with an offensive weapon.
The investigation is continuing.
