20-year-old man dies following single-vehicle crash

A 20-year-old man from Dieppe, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash in the community.

On February 11, 2023, at approximately 2:47 a.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Amirault Street in Dieppe. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle, struck the sidewalk, and rolled over.

Members of the Dieppe Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick also attended the scene. A member of the New Brunswick coroner's office is assisting with the investigation, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the man's exact cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
