Wetaskiwin and Leduc RCMP execute search warrant and seize stolen property

Seized farm equipment

On May 20, 2022, a resident of rural Wetaskiwin County attended the Wetaskiwin Detachment to report what they believed to be their stolen farm equipment located on another rural property in Leduc County, Alta. The Wetaskiwin Crime Reduction Unit, Leduc RCMP Crime Reduction and Wetaskiwin RCMP general duty officers conducted a joint investigation and executed a search warrant. As a result of the search, RCMP were able to recover a Bale Processor and a Renn Roller from the property.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.

The investigation into identifying those responsible for the theft continues.
