Update - Thompson RCMP search for missing teen

Khellen Kirkness has been safely located. The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.


On July 27, 2022, at approximately 11:10 am, Thompson RCMP received a report of a missing 13-year-old male.

Khellen Kirkness, from Winnipeg, came to Thompson to visit family and was last seen leaving a residence the night of July 26, located on Sandpiper Crescent in Thompson, when he left to visit with friends.

He has yet to return home but sightings of Kirkness have been reported throughout Thompson in the past few days and he has yet to make contact with family or police.

Kirkness is approximately 5'8", 130 lbs, with black hair & brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black hoody, black gym pants and black runners.
