On February 15, 2022, at approximately 2:15 am, Thompson RCMP received a report of a robbery at a business on Cree Road in Thompson, Manitoba. An unknown male entered the business, stated he had a weapon, threatened the life of the employee, and demanded cash. He also took cell phones that were for sale and cigarettes. He fled with the stolen items. The employee was not physically injured.

Officers were on scene immediately, and Police Dog Services was brought in. However, due to the blustery conditions, a track was not possible.

The male is described as Caucasian, 5'9", medium build. He was dressed in camouflage jacket and pants, with hunter orange on the inside.
