The Pas, Manitoba

News release

Kingsley Campbell has been arrested. The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.

Earlier this morning, at approximately 5:20 am, The Pas RCMP received a report of an armed suspect attempting to enter the Kingsley Trail Esso, located on Fischer Avenue in The Pas, but found the doors to be locked.

After the unsuccessful robbery attempt, the suspect attempted to rob an individual sitting in a taxi parked outside of the gas station, which failed, as the taxi drove away. The suspect then fled the scene.

Officers were then advised at 5:55 am, that the same suspect had just completed an armed robbery at the OCN Shell gas station located on the Opaskwayak First Nation and fled the scene on foot.

RCMP, along with the Manitoba First Nations Police Service, conducted patrols but were unable to locate the suspect.

The Pas RCMP are asking for public assistance in locating 21-year-old Kingsley Campbell who is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach. Contact police immediately.

If you have information, please call The Pas RCMP at 204-627-6200, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
