RCMP seeking public’s assistance following damages to community mailboxes

The Saint-Léonard RCMP is asking for the public's assistance following several reports of damaged Canada Post community mailboxes in the Local Service District (LSD) of Grand Falls, and the Rural Community of Saint-André, N.B.

Between January 8 and 9, 2022, someone forced open and damaged four community mailboxes. The incidents took place on Chemin Moran in the LSD of Grand Falls, as well as Chemin St. Amand, Rue Bourgoin, and Chemin P. Martin in the Rural Community of Saint-André.

Anyone with information about these incidents or who may have recently been a victim of mail theft, is asked to contact the Saint-Léonard RCMP at 506-473-3137.
