RCMP seeking public assistance in shots fired investigation

The RCMP/HRP Guns and Gangs Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a report of shots fired in North Preston.

Yesterday, at approximately 8 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a call regarding shots fired at a house on Willis Ln. in North Preston.

RCMP officers learned that a number of gun shots were heard sometime around 2 a.m. There were no injuries sustained in the incident; however, the house incurred damage consistent with bullet holes.

The investigation is ongoing and being assisted by the RCMP Forensic Identification Section.
