RCMP recover stolen vehicles

The West District RCMP has recovered two stolen vehicles following an investigation in Oromocto, N.B.

On May 18, 2022, at approximately 8:30 a.m., the Oromocto RCMP attended a residence on Oromocto First Nation in relation to an investigation.

During the investigation, police located a pickup truck and a car that were reported stolen to the Fredericton Police Force and the Oromocto RCMP.

A 19-year-old man from Rusagonis was arrested at the scene for unrelated matters. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Fredericton Provincial Court on August 31.
