Kugluktuk RCMP have seized a large quantity of liquor recently. In each case, the public provided information of possible bootlegging activities.

All involved parties have been charged under Section 84 of the Nunavut Liquor Act with the Unlawful Sale and Possession of Liquor. Each person is scheduled to appear in court on August 9, 2022 in Kugluktuk, Nunavut.

On April 25, 2022, Kugluktuk RCMP seized 60 bottles vodka and 48 cans of beer from Briel Evaglok (20).

On April 27, 2022, Kugluktuk RCMP seized 24 bottles of vodka from Shannon Ayaligak (25) and Zachary Roberts (27).

On May 11, 2022, Kugluktuk RCMP seized 26 bottles of vodka and 4 bottles of rum from Willis Dewey Joudrey (44).
