RCMP asking for public’s help identifying individuals of interest in connection with an armed robbery attempt

The Hampton RCMP is asking for the public's help identifying two individuals involved in an attempted armed robbery in St. Martins, N.B.

On June 8, 2022, at approximately 6 p.m., a man operating an ATV approached a car that was parked on the gravel portion of Vaugh Creek Road. Two men, who were inside the car, demanded that he hand over his ATV and wallet, and brandished a firearm. The ATV operator was able to flee the area without being injured. The two men in the car fled the scene before police arrived.

The two men are described as being between the ages of 30 and 35 years old. One of the men is described as being approximately six feet two inches (188 centimeters) tall, and weighing approximately 175 pounds (79 kilograms). The man was further described as being unshaven with a mustache, and was wearing a black hoodie.

The vehicle of interest is described as a black four-door sedan. No further description of the vehicle is available.
